Gotta say, the Metro interface on Windows 8, which originated on their Windows phones, looks pretty awesome.
I do wonder about the overall usability; lots of menus and functions are totally hidden, requiring a swipe in from an edge to make them show up. I don’t know how discoverable that will be for new users.
Also it’s too bad all the Metro stuff appears tacked-on to a regular Windows desktop. Windows 7 (I use it in a virtual machine for some things) is nice and all, but it’s not really exciting.
