Or one well-researched opinion, at least. After I posted (here) about The Online Photographer’s take on it, I was hoping an intellectual property lawyer would explain in more detail why declaring that the pixel-art album cover probably wasn’t fair use.

One did.

The discussions around transformative works and the protected elements of a photograph are particularly valuable.
