Polar bears don’t appreciate being spied on →

2010 Dec 31 1 min read Published by Lee Reamsnyder Permalink

Several years ago, I was at the St. Louis zoo with some friends watching a polar bear effortlessly toss a beach ball around, maybe a few yards in the air each time.

It was only when it landed on some concrete with a deafening K-CHUNK that we all realized she was actually playing with a freaking bowling ball.

So, yeah, they’re crazy strong. In hindsight, I’m not sure why that seemed like a revelation at the time. I mean, they’re bears.

Anyway, enjoy this video of polar bears having their way with spy cameras.
