This is everywhere this morning: Paypal is not letting the Regretsy site give donated presents and money to poor children for specious reasons in an entirely dickish way. Did you know that “you can use the donate button to raise money for a sick cat, but not poor people”? That’s an actual quote I didn’t make that up!

Hey, entrepreneurs! There’s a business opportunity out there for something that I’ll call “non-asshole banking”. Think like Square or Simple or almost any credit union. You know, companies that remember who their real customers are and make it easy to move your own money around.

Please. Save us from these assholes.
