If you replaced every instance of “iPod” with “Cassette tape,” this article could have been written in the '70s. Look: in the music market, convenience always trumps fidelity. After you realize you can carry months and months of continuous music on something smaller than a pack of gum, most people won’t use anything else. I know I don’t.
