So, this Bruno Mars song, “Just the Way You Are” …

These are the actual lyrics, starting at the line before each chorus:

But every time she asks me, "Do I look okay?"
I say
When I see your face
There’s not a thing that I would change
Cause you’re amazing
Just the way you are

Unfortunately, until I looked the song up, I misheard that first line as this:

But every time she asks me, "Do you like cocaine?"

Which, when you hear it my way, makes the song four-minutes of an addict trying to desperately change the subject. This made it a really dark and interesting song, especially for mainstream radio.

The real song is boring. I wish I hadn’t looked it up. Boo.
